Barcelona Global General Assembly & Christmas Lunch 2018
On December 11th Barcelona Global celebrated the General Assembly in the Auditorium Cuatrecasas with the attendance of more than 250 members.
Emilio Cuatrecasas, Honorary President of Barcelona Global, welcomed the attendants and, afterward, the Chairman of Barcelona Global, Pau Guardans i Cambó, addressed a reflection underlining the importance of understanding the city of Barcelona in terms of the future. During the Assembly, the new reform of the statutes and the transformation of the Barcelona Global Management Board into a Supervisory Board were approved unanimously.

Moreover, Carlos Trenchs, Director of CaixaBank DayOne; Ignasi Vilajosana, CEO of Worldsensing; Mar Alarcón, Founder and CEO of SocialCar and Joan Margenat, COO & Co-founder of Marfeel explained the importance of the Barcelona Global Scale-Up Monitor. They underlined the need to reconsider the city of Barcelona so that the national talent stays and does not decide to go abroad, as well as the need to attract talent from all corners.
