Barcelona Global presents the city to more than 600 international executives
The first edition of the Barcelona MBA Day organized by Barcelona Global along with IESE, ESADE and EADA took place on October 18 with the aim of raising awareness of the competitive dimension (business, research and culture) to newly arrived students.
Last Thursday we got the more than 600 students from more than 85 different nationalities of IESE, ESADE and EADA to know the entrepreneurial, scientific and cultural Barcelona, in the hands of its top representatives.
More than 60 companies, research centers and key cultural facilities of our city opened their doors to these future global executives.
With this first edition of the Barcelona MBA Day we sowed the seed for future global business leaders to have Barcelona on their radar of investment, development and talent. For these students, sharing a few moments with Isak Andic, Marc Puig, Tatxo Benet, Pepe Serra, Joan Oller, Marko Daniel, Ignasi Ribas or Josep Maria Martorell, is a demonstration that they are studying in the right city.
In the closing ceremony that we celebrated in the RBA auditorium, we had the opportunity to see even more the importance that Barcelona has to work hand in hand and with shared objectives with the main business schools of the city.
The Barcelona MBA Day would not have been possible without the 28 volunteer partners of Barcelona Global that day acted as guides for the students. Thanks to Albert C. Mikkelsen, Anna Casadellà, Anna Marquès, Bibiana Ballbè, Carine Lebecque, Daniel Huguet, Eric Nigra, Ferran Rodés, Gonzalo Rodés, Laia Fortuny, Jordi Aguilera, Jyoti Chugani, Lluis Lluch, Marie Eouzan, Marina Lara, Margarita Vilaclara, Mateu Hernández, Mercedes Cano, Miguel López de Veraza, Mireia Tomàs, Ramón Estrada, Sabina Schladitz, Serrat Font, Stephanie von Lukowicz, Sylvain Boy, Sylvie Lemaire, Tony Lara and Valeria Andrade.
